Summary

In cinema, hands are eloquent. Time, movement, memory, alterity and sexuality are combined in the melodious beating of hands. Scorsese, De Sica, Fellini, Vidor, Denis, Bresson, Mann, Hitchcock, Chabrol, Lang, Burton, Craven, Raimi, Godard, Kubrick : all those directors worshipped hands transforming their movies into embraces.
